SPACE STUNT: Oh, of course this was not a setup, nope. Not at all. Just because he apparently arranged witnesses and a video camera, and then physically intimidated and insulted the man until he reacted. It's all perfectly innocent. Sure. It's only a coincidence, of course, that it will make for great footage in the next Fox "When Pseudoscientists Go Bad!" special. This guy's "interview technique" reminds me (not favorably) of Michael Moore, mixed with a dash of those "peaceful protestors" who deliberately incite violence and then cry "police brutality". This is not the first time the guy has gone after Buzz Aldrin with an "attack interview". Even if it were, I could understand Buzz being insulted to the point of physical anger, first by the accusation that he is a liar (and he would have to be the all-time world champion epic liar at that, if the accusation were true), and second by the presumptuousness of the guy's asking him to swear on a Bible, as if he were on trial in a courtroom. I don't condone violence. But I can certainly understand where it came from, if this story is true. At least Richard Hoagland retreated from the scene after his theories were debunked. This guy's allegations have already been well debunked...it's long since time for him to slink back to obscurity. (I say he physically intimidated Aldrin for two reasons. One, the body language in the still from the video on ABC's website -- which I can't watch because I don't plan to pay them for the privilege -- gives me the impression that Buzz is backing away from the larger Sibrel, and two...well, Buzz is twice Sibrel's age, and thus one would expect him to be somewhat less agile and more fragile.)
