MARS WATER UPDATES: Yeah, so these are a few days old, but it's a little hard to post updates when you're several thousand miles away from your PC:

Water on Mars Good News for Exploration
Underground Ice Reportedly Detected on Mars
Spacecraft Finds Evidence of Water on Mars, Researchers Say
Evidence Indicates Water on Mars

All appear to be updating on the findings reported a month or so back, regarding Mars Odyssey's discovery of abundant hydrogen in the Martian regolith and polar caps. One story I read described the abundance in soil near the poles as so great that one could heat a bucket full of soil and get a bucket just under half-full of dirt and just over half full of water (more likely, a bucket all full of mud, but the point is that there appears to be a lot of water to be had readily).
