MARS WATER UPDATES: Yeah, so these are a few days old, but it's a little hard to post updates when you're several thousand miles away from your PC: Water on Mars Good News for Exploration All appear to be updating on the findings reported a month or so back, regarding Mars Odyssey's discovery of abundant hydrogen in the Martian regolith and polar caps. One story I read described the abundance in soil near the poles as so great that one could heat a bucket full of soil and get a bucket just under half-full of dirt and just over half full of water (more likely, a bucket all full of mud, but the point is that there appears to be a lot of water to be had readily).
