Now that I have cable television again, I've started noticing the new (to me) crop of hard-sell advertisements. It seems I can't watch the news in the morning without seeing a half-dozen ads for the "Ionic Breeze Quadra" (in a nutshell, it's an electrostatic precipitation unit for use in the home).

Forget the dog smells and the liver-and-onions cooking in the kitchen -- these things would be extremely useful in airlocks.
