NASA Plans Saturday Launch of Mars Rover It still cracks me up that Boeing uses sheets of cork to insulate their rockets. Yes, I know cork is a common TPS material, but in Boeings' case, I get this mental image of someone peeling the stuff off of a bulletin board and gluing it to the propellant tanks.
