Pentagon Space Commercialization
The Pentagon plans to continue purchasing orbital imagery from private suppliers, and is inviting bids for a new round of imagery contracts worth around $500 million. One hopes the Aldridge Commission will recommend similar arrangements as part of the fleshed-out Moon-Mars plan. (Though I can't find it at the moment, I could swear I read something to this effect in the past day or two.) Posted by T.L. James on March 19, 2004 10:53 PM
