Zubrin on...Art Bell?!?

Mars Society President Robert Zubrin will appear on the Coast to Coast radio show, broadcast nationwide on the Premier Radio Network from 11 PM to 3 AM Pacific time March 9-10.

Actually, Art Bell isn't there anymore. It's now some other guy (which made it loose much of its entertainment value for me. It was quite amusing listening to some of the crackpots that would come on). But they are capable of doing a serious show once in a while. I listen to it only when I'm up really late (which isn't very much).

Okay, so it may turn out all right in terms of content, callers, etc. But how many folks are going to hear about this and make the same erroneous association between the Art Bell mindset and Mars Society?

Mind you, much of forteana is wildly entertaining, and I don't have a problem with it as such -- I'm just a bit worried about the perception that there is a linkage between its more "fringe" elements and the Mars Society. I'd rather not have to spend any more time than I already do explaining that the Mars Society is about human settlement of the planet, not digging up supposed alien metropoli, the indisputable evidence of which is being suppressed by the same NASA which faked the Moon landings in cahoots with aluminum Nazi hellcreatures from beneath the hollow Earth, etc.
