Pulling Off the Wings?

Apollo-like capsule may replace shuttle
Seems like old news, but curiously it is back in the headlines just as NASA is trying to figure out what direction OSP will take.

Hmm.

I was thrilled when I read that article earlier today. It give me hope that we might have a cheap and effective replacement for the human segment of the shuttle program, within a tolerable time frame. The money that will be saved with a capsule design, both in development and over the course of its operating life, will leave much more money on the table than would "Shuttle II".

Could be this the first sign of the resurrection of the Apollo program?
