Chicago (Not the Musical)

Jost at Martian Soil says that the next Mars Society conference will be held in Chicago. This was mentioned as a possibility during the Eugene conference, but I had not yet seen an announcement that the choice had been made.

Hi there, Mike Turner from Chicago.

If you have any suggestions for anything you'd like to see happen at the the conference, please let us know. We'll keep everybody up to speed on what's going on via our webpage @ http://chapters.marssociety.org/usa/il/index.htm

We're pretty big into congressional outreach for Mars here, so we're looking to get a congressman to speak at the convention.

We're also thinking about having a theme for this years conference (perhaps what it takes for a human mission) considering that the public eye will be on Mars much more so than it has been in the past.

Anyways, if you'd like any further info please feel free to contact me at Mturnera@Hotmail.com
