Saw this at the local grocery store this morning:

It's too bad that the people who know how to run the country are busy teaching school.


This, in Colorado...home of Jay Bennish and Ward Churchill. The arrogance would be breathtaking, if the assertion weren't so laughable.

I live in Massachusetts, and had seen this bumper sticker a number of times. And judging from my conversations with local schoolteachers, they actually believe it.

Yes, I suppose you could take it that way. In this case, though, she meant it literally...at least judging by her other bumper sticker, which read: "Sow the seeds of peace and justice".
